This is an Intermatic 24-Hour Mechanical Time Switch Mechanism replacement, with heater protection, DPST, 208-277 Volts, which can be installed in most Intermatic enclosures. This model is designed to turn OFF a gas fired swimming pool heater approximately 20 minutes before the filter pump shuts down. This eliminates the problem of pounding and knocking due to overheated water, reduces scale and lime deposits, and extends the service life of the heater.
This dependable mechanical time switch features a high horsepower rating that is ideal for loads up to 40 amps per pole and direct 24-hour time switch control of most loads. This heavy-duty replacement time switch mechanism for the T100 Series is designed for commercial, industrial and residential applications and has the highest motor load ratings in the industry. All models are equipped with one ON and one OFF tripper.
